Gondwana Canyon Roadhouse

Wunderbare Anlage, mit Liebe fürs Detail. Super Frühstück, hübscher Pool, schöner Wanderweg direkt neben der Unterkunft, gutes Internet, schöne Zimmer und sauber.

It was one of the highlights of our Trip and was everything I expected.Lovely location-lovely helpfull staff-especially Valencia.

Showers are on and off -no inbetween

So glad we booked the Roadhouse for two nights, exceeded our expectations in every sense.

Sehr sauber und toller Ausgangspunkt zu Canyon. Das Essen war aich sehr gut. Vor allem beim Frühstück gab es viel Auswahl.

Freundliches Personal, aber leider konnte man uns nicht sagen, wie weit der am Gelände markierte Wanderweg ist. Auch die Auskunft zu den angebotenen Aktivitäten ging nicht über die kurze Beschreibung der Homepage hinaus.

It is a wonderfully eclectic oasis of Namibian, charm and history. With the old car theme and imaginative decor, the ambience is unique. The staff were lovely from the restaurant, reception and bar to the extremely helpful Christian, who seemed to be everywhere and made sure we had a mechanic to fix a technical issue with our car. The food we had for lunch and dinner was also lovely. I highly recommend staying here, but make sure you book early!

Nothing - lived everything!

Strange how after a long drive trough the Namibian wasteland you seem to end up on Route 66 in the United States. The Roadhouse is a piece of Americana filled with oldtimers, both wrecks and well preserved. The rooms are very nice, service is excellent and there is even a gas station to fill up your car, so you drive and explore the area without worries.

The food was excellent, but the menu focuses on burgers. Not that much variety. But do try the samies for lunch!
