Extraordinary motor memorabilia. Convenient oasis in the desert. Within a sensible distance of Fish River Canyon.

Unfortunately, no hot water during our 2 day stay.

An oasis! A must stay. Beautiful, beyond expectations. From a dusty, hard road, to this little "village". The decor fits the theme and it is just a wonderful little place to stop. Walking in, you are greeted by a little bar with COLD refreshments (much needed). The welcome was also warm, with a special mention to the young lady working reception. The pool is freezing - which is EXACTLY what you need when the outside temperature hits 40+ (which it does). They served an amazing dinner. I would recommend their burgers, which may be some of the best I have ever had. After connecting to the wi-fi, and leaving the establishment, when you fill up at a Gondwana fillingstation, you auto connect to their wi-fi (may be handy when not on roaming). I had a query relating to the room and an additional payment, which was sorted quickly and easily. They really made it east to work with them.

There was one of the rooms we booked which did not have a working aircon. Unfortunately, I was not aware of this when we were there, so I did not have the opportunity to bring this up.

Funny place on the road :-). Nice people.

Price is a little bit higher.

Great place to stay in. If you want to visit fish river canyon this should be your accommodation. Room is big and comfortable, the lodge built in vintage style in really nice. Good breakfast, good dinner

The only thing I can say is about the WiFi connection in rooms: too weak.
