Lovely decorated buildings. Great restaurant.

Fabulous place! We so enjoyed the amenities and the fabulous restaurant: the staff are very friendly and efficient; the food (for vegetarians) was delicious and the accommodation was very comfortable!

Our only regret was that we did not have the time to stay longer.

We came across Canyon Roadhouse a few years ago and stopped to enjoy lunch here. We loved the 1940s/1950s American Dinner theme of Canyon Roadhouse. On our return trip this year, my husband insisted we book in and spend a night. We arrived late in the afternoon after visiting the nearby Fish River Canyon and were shown to our beautifully decorated and clean room. My expectations of what the room would be like, was pleasantly exceeded. We enjoyed a good dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed a good night sleep. Wake early to catch the sunrise over the nearby mountains - the colours are spectacular. After a hearty breakfast, we hit the road to our next destination. Would not hesitate to stay here again and can recommend Canyon Roadhouse to other travelers. (Camping facilities are also available).

This is a gem of a place, picture-perfect in the middle of nowhere. We loved the small courtyard, the gardens, the general theme.

Quirky accommodation with old vehicles dotted around and lots of motor memorabilia incorporated into the design of the rooms. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Beds were a little hard and the restaurant is quite cold in the winter (despite the fires).
