Palazzo Italia Apartments

The location is great, close to the train station and long distance bus station, and the city center is also a short walk away. Good connection to the airport. There are many bars around the area for breakfast. We didn’t feel unsafe at all in the area. Room was spacious, even if a big dark. Checkin and checkout were simple.

As other reviews noted, the listing doesn’t inform you but the bathroom doesn’t open from the room, you need to cross the hallway (only we used it, it was not shared with the other guests). The noise from the street is unfortunately extremely loud and makes it impossible to sleep well.

We were not informed whatsover that the bathroom is shared with another apartment. For that price, it was rather disappointing.

Handy for main station and buses

Kitchen dirty. Shower mouldy. No plug in basin. Synthetic bedsheets (in that heat)! Unbearably noisy road. Check in a complete joke. Ludicrous procedure.

Well, where to start, apart from saying that we were very disappointed and that this accommodation doesn't deserve a star despite its charm. First of all, we couldn't open the key box to get the apartment key, it was quite tricky to open it. We struggle multiple to close both doors and the lady's accommodation next to us can't stop locking the door from the inside... We have been locked outside plus the apartment latch doesn't close very well, it is not secured at all. Then the owner did the bare minimum, he wasn't there when we arrived despite responding quickly but not being much help when you've had problems opening the key box. Plus, he gave us the wrong wifi code in his message, and didn't prepare well the flat because it was not very clean. The dishes were full of dirty marks and ants were everywhere. Not to mention that there was only one roll of toilet paper for two people for 5 nights and no soap. The room is boisterous, you can hear all the noises from outside, and it's impossible to rest, especially in an area where you don't feel safe when you're travelling between girls.

Lots of space, well organised, excellent choice of furniture.

Windows facing the main road shake a bit when cars passing by. Overall the place is very quiet considering the location. In 3 days I didn’t hear any noises from the neighbours.

Great location, lovely room that had you feel like you are sleeping in a castle! Clean place and the airco worked great. The host was nice in the messages and the check in was smooth

We did not love that the bathroom was across the hallway that we shared with another couple.
