Amatera Luxury Apartments

Amatera Luxury Apartments (Azzuri) was fantastic. The apartment was clean and spacious and it also had a large balcony with a great view of the sassi area of town. The location was excellent, very close to the action around the centre of the old town but just outside the hustle & bustle. Nothing at all to dislike, and a lot to like 👍

The apartment was is a great location, only a stones throw to everywhere you would want to visit. It was new and spacious with a kitchenette with most of what you’d need to make yourself a meal. The apartment was actually quite dusty above the bed and ontop of the sofa. The blinds in the bedroom didn’t work so that was a little frustrating, but besides that it was a pleasant stay.

The appartment was very clean and comfortable and practically located just in the putskirts of the pedestrian area. Warm and kice even in the middle of the winter. I especially enjoyed the atmosephere.

Although beautifully decorated the appartment could have been a bit more practically planned. We think the part of the appartment were the small sofa bed was situated could instead have been planned as a proper bedroom. The table was definitely too small for a family f five and the chairs wuite shaky. But nevertheless we enjoyed our stay very much.

Pedestrian noise comes into the apartment whose front door is located on a pedestrian street. You need to close the living room door before going to bed.

Very close to the Sassi, all manageable by walking. Clean, newly renovated apartment with everything you need for a short stay in Matera. I would personally not recommend for a longer stay for 4 people as it is quite small and dark, so for me I would require more space for a longer stay. For 4 people for 2 days it was just perfect 👌🏻. The only problem we had was parking, so I would recommend to mention parking in the information for guests (maybe it was there and I didn’t find it). Ilaria is a great provider of the accommodation, she was very active in communication and settled everything right away. Many 🙏

Bit dark, but as we were almost all the time out, not a problem.

Everything, the apartment was in a great location right in the middle of all restaurants, bars & sights. Loved that it was a whole apartment with a very large balcony to sit outside. Easy access (remote) and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! I highly recommend it! Very quiet at night so you can have a restful sleep!

I will start that Amatera has the best possible location. Is very easy to park close to it and arrive at the apartment as it is in one of the entrances to Sassi. We had incredible views of Matera Duomo and Sassi from our terrace. The apartment was very spacious and with all the facilities that you could think of. Very clean and comfortable with a very nice design. The host were very helpful with tips and things to do in Matera and surroundings.
