L'accueil très chaleureux, les échanges authentiques, l' esprit du lieu, le souci de l'écologie et du développement durable, les espaces communs agréables, la chambre et la salle de bain grande et confortable (mais sans eau chaude), la vue sur la nature et le jardin avec la présence de nombreux oiseaux, opossumd, écureuils. Les cours donnés gratuitement aux enfants du quartier.

Beautiful location with amazing sunsets and a quiet tranquil vibe outside the city.

Lovely place to chill, handy to use the kitchen alongside people who work there also cooking. Half way to the Cruz de apante, cross with their own trail behind the property. This is 1km up from the property, and on the other side of it down the stairs you can then go around the Cerro Apante park, a small waterfall is there. We got a quarter of the way as its a decent trek around.

1.6km from the centre of town. With a massive hill. I think id stay here only with own transport to be honest. The mosquito net is definitely needed at night but works well

Tolle Lage über Matagalpa, wir hatten für 3 Nächte die Hütte mit Doppelbett und Außendusche und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es war herrlich morgens durch Vogelgesang geweckt zu werden und im Februar unter blühenden Bäumen zum Frühstück zu gehen. Wir haben 3x Frühstück und 3x Abendessen vor Ort genossen und waren auch hiermit jeweils zufrieden. Die Mahlzeiten waren frisch und gesund, ein Getränk war auch jeweils mit dabei und die Preise waren fair. Auch praktisch: Es steht gefiltertes Trinkwasser zur Verfügung, sodass keine Wasserflaschen aus Matagalpa hochgeschleppt werden müssen. Tagsüber waren wir jeweils unterwegs, einen Tag haben wir über Matagalpa Tours einen Tagesausflug zu einer Kaffeeplantage und zu zwei Wasserfällen unternommen. Die Tour konnte direkt über die Estacion biologica gebucht werden. Inkludiert war hier außerdem ein Mittagessen, eine Führung über die Kaffeefarm sowie eine zweistündige Wanderung durch das Hochland. Durchgeführt wurde die Tour von netten jungen Männern, die teils im Rahmen von Workshops Englisch gelernt haben - organisiert durch die Estacion Aguali. Eine sinnvolle und nachhaltige Sache, zumal auch der Gewinn aus der Tour wieder in neue Projekte fließen soll. Wir haben uns während unseres Aufenthalts rundum wohl gefühlt, die einfache Ausstattung war für uns überhaupt kein Problem. Sehr dankbar sind wir dafür, dass uns durch das Personal außerdem ein privater Fahrer organisiert wurde, der uns an einem Sonntag von Matagalpa nach Granada fuhr und uns sogar direkt an der Estacion abholte, auch wenn das letzte Stück mit einem normalen PKW ohne Aufsetzen nicht zu bewältigen ist. Es ist auch darauf hinzuweisen, dass die App InDrive zwar in Leon, Managua und Granada super funktioniert, in Matagalpa aber über die App keine Fahrer zu finden sind, weil die Taxigewerkschaft hier das Monopol innehat. Der Weg aus Matagalpa zur Estacion Aguali ist sehr steil, war aber bewältigbar für uns. Wir sprechen eine klare Empfehlung aus

Amazing place. Lots of nature to explore but still walking distance from the city. Staff is fantastic and very friendly and accommodating, with lots of knowledge about things to do in the area. Perfect place to relax a few days, catch up on some chill time or online work, and get some hikes in imbetween! A lot of people mention how intense the climb is to Aguali, but to me it's a nice rite of passage that separates the property from the city while still being totally accessible! Usually takes me 15 minutes to walk to Aguali from parque Dario.

Le personnel était vraiment sympathique ! L'emplacement est certes loin du centre et pas facile d'accès avec cette grosse montée mais vaut largement le détour !! Magnifique vue pour le coucher du Soleil et chemin balisé depuis l'hostel jusqu'au point de vue de la Croix plus haut. Cuisine plutôt bien équipée, espaces communs grands et agréables (et il y a un SKYJO, important !!) Rien à redire, parfait !!
