Charming Bonfim Penthouse

Fantastic location and apartment had everything we needed. Host was excellent, always quick to respond and met us when we arrived. The apartment was really comfortable and well equipped. It was across the road from a metro station and just a 10 minute walk to the train station. The river was a 20 minute walk away. We’d thoroughly recommend this apartment.

It would be good to have better blinds in the bedrooms as it was a bit light in the mornings but that was just a minor point.

La ubicación es fantástica, con una estación de metro en la puerta y paradas de autobús muy cerca. El parking de la estancia está muy bien, y hay tiendas, supermercados y restaurantes muy cerca. La anfitriona es super amable y super atenta, dando todo tipo de recomendaciones a través del whatsapp, antes incluso de las fechas de la estancia, y preguntando a lo largo de la misma si necesitábamos cualquier cosa. La casa es super amplia, muy bien equipada y decorada con un gusto exquisito. Tiene juguetes para los niños. Los baños son muy amplios y cuentan con ducha y bañera dentro de dos de los mismos.

Únicamente que, para nuestro gusto, los colchones son extremadamente blandos

The hosts were amazing – very responsive, friendly, and eager to share helpful tips about both the apartment and Porto. The location is great, just a short walk to the city center and with a metro station right across the street. The apartment is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen for making meals and a high-performing washing machine.

The maintenance of the apartment isn’t quite 100%. For example, the mattresses weren’t very comfortable, and the electric windows couldn’t be opened and seemed to get stuck. With a bit more investment in maintenance, this apartment could easily be a 10 out of 10.

Marcia's communication and helpfulness were excellent. The location was great, easy access to the Metro line or a short walk to a lovely park, to resteraunts, to a supermarket. Great pastries and coffee just next door.

The apartment was as expected. It was comfortable and location was great! The host Marcia provided us with restaurants and fun bar options close by. The train station was right across the street and the off street parking was so convenient. I highly recommend if traveling to Porto!

Challenging garage space but that’s because of station wagon size. Could fit in but unable to properly close the garage. Still safe as it’s a private property parking lot.

It was a home away from home. Very comfortable. Excellent location opposite metro station but still a nice walk into old town. Lots of restaurant choices in walking distance. Supermarket choices close by. A lift to the entrance. Had everything we needed and more. Very helpful tips and suggestions. Our most favourite accommodation on our holiday.

It was a beautiful spacious apartment with a kitchen that had a full range of appliances. The location was very convenient, opposite a metro station or 15 minutes walk to the centre. Plenty of cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk, to go for breakfast, including one next door.
