Central location for our needs

Room was not clean, even the kettle was dirty inside. Poor quality bed and linen

Property was good, location of this place is good

The place was close enough to where we needed to have some meetings. Ultimately we had a roof over our heads, a safe place to sleep, a shower (with hot water for 4 minutes), and fairly clean cutlery to eat breakfast out of.

Old facilities, smelled of smoke, lots of noise from neighbors (who seemed to be having a party), and an altogether not inviting atmosphere. Can't say I'd recommend it to anyone, and wouldn't book again.

Easy to find, close to the motorway. Close to takeaway meal restaurants. Walking distance to Hunter Plaza. Safe offroad parking outside the unit, and dark at night. Quiet. Plenty of bench space and storage in kitchenette. Plenty of storage in the bathroom. Recent clean crisp tiling around basin. Good water flow in the shower. Towels were big and soft. Shampoo was provided. Bed was warm and comfortable. Receiving milk in a little jug was a nice touch. Lovely cleaning lady who came in the morning and provided the missing soap and toilet paper, cloths etc. She was a welcome staff member to the unit.

Shower head height was not adjustable, and the shower box was small. There was no soap for the handbasin or shower, and only enough toilet paper for one night's visit. The light over the mirror in the bathroom did not work, and one of the fluorescent strip lights in the lounge did not work. There were no pots or pans to use on the ceramic cooktop hob, and very little in the way of kitchen equipment at all. No bowls to put food in. Only one teaspoon between two people. No cloth to wipe up crumbs or water after washing the dishes. There was a lot of leaf litter around the door, unpleasant as it stuck to shoes. The internet cut out over and over and over. The eftpos did not work at the time we came to check out, and wanted to retrieve our $50 bond, but that may not have been the motel's fault.
