The unit is so beautiful! Love the location right on the main shopping street and just a block away from from supermarket. It’s also on the ground level which didn’t require us to carry our bags as most apartments in Iceland don’t have lifts.

Nothing to not like.

The apartment was very clean and in a great location - central to the shops and local attractions. The beds were very comfortable, and they had black out curtains on the bedroom windows. Check in and check out were a breeze. We were able to park only a couple blocks away, in P2 and P3 parking areas, using PARKA. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We read all the reviews and were aware that this location is noisy. It is! It is on THE MAIN tourist street, so it's noisy even late at night. The other downside we saw noted is there is no microwave. This would have been helpful to heat up quick meals when we were in a hurry. Also, the one bedroom has a queen bed, however, due to this, the door does not close. It's directly across from the bathroom, so it's hard to sleep in. And of final note, there was a lack of washcloths, paper towels, laundry detergent. Also no booklet with "best of" in the area, like restaurants, shopping, etc.

Great location and a cute place! Felt safe with the keyless entry and being on the 2nd floor.

Only complaint was that we could not control the temperature. Parking can be very difficult.
