Fortino vecchio apartment

The apartment is extremely spacious and clean. It’s close to everything but also far enough off the main roads to not be exceptionally noisy.

The area is not known as the best area during the night.

Excellent communication from the host regarding check in instructions.

The whole apartment was clean and large. Three big rooms and a very large bathroom with a comfortable shower. Fast and free wifi... All you need to stay for few days was included.

Everything was just fantastic, Enrica is a great host, helpful and caring. The apartment is perfectly designed for stay, big and very spacious rooms, gorgeous bathroom, practical and fully equipped kitchen, sweet bar of snacks with a Italian coffee machine and comfortable beds. Perfect location within walking distance from town centre and public transportation. We highly recommend this apartment for vacation in Catania, we will be back 🙏

😃 everything was just great for us

The location is great ; near city center , La Pischaria ( Fish Market ) , close to shops , bakeries and the like …everything I’m interested in is at walking distance .. plus the ease of dealing with the owners .. In short this is a place that I would go back to next time I’m in Catania ..

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like about my stay at this place

The interior was brand new and very spacious. The host had thought about all the little details which was nice. Location was good. Host was very polite and helpful.

The property was easy to find and is located within a relatively quiet corner of a very lively and dynamic area. It took ten minutes by car to get to Catania–Fontanarossa Airport, there is car parking directly outside the apartment and plenty of stores within a short distance i.e. pharmacies, groceries, food stores as well as clothing. The property itself is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and modern. The bathroom is amazing and the fully equipped utility room was an added bonus, enabling the washing and ironing of clothes. The host Enrica is beautiful both inside and out, she is friendly and was always available upon request, she went above and beyond, guiding me to parallel park my car and at approximately 9pm she even dropped of an item that I had forgotten to purchase whilst I was out at the shops. She made both me and my 5 year old daughter feel very welcome and was able to communicate effectively with us via my translation app as I speak no Italian. The property is self catering but there was a generous selection of morning refreshments by the coffee maker and it has all the facilities to cook, eat and store food. The value for money is excellent, there was nothing I could find fault in and my standards are high!! It was definitely a home from home experience and I intend to make Fortino vecchio apartments my base when I return to further explore the beautiful island of Sicily.
