ASH Villa Fujikawaguchiko

Build quality is top notch.

The house is positively gorgeous, and could not have been cleaner! Once we got inside, we were welcomed with comfortable slippers. The hosts have thoughtful amenities such as epsom salts and essential oils, yukata on the beds, amazing coffee and tea set up. The views out of the back of the house are absolutely unmatched!!! With all of the fresh snowfall before our arrival, we didn't access the outdoor firepit, but it looked very welcoming, and we would love to return another time, when we are more prepared for the weather.

I didn't realize (due to my own lack of research) that the property was basically inaccessible without a car. I spent a lot of money to hire a taxi to take us to the house, and the walk out in the morning was 3 miles to the nearest bus stop. The check in directions kept referring to a "tablet" that we should refer to for check in instructions, which we couldn't find anywhere. There are 2 ASH Villas, so we were curious if perhaps one of them had the tablet and the other didn't? We only realized there were 2 ASH Villas when we went to the first one, and couldn't open the door with the keypad code we were sent. After several attempts, we tried to call the hosts, and the call wouldn't go through. That is when we thought to check to see if there were other houses, and thankfully, the code worked for the other house, and we were able to get inside.

only challenge, accessing transport or taxi, due to remote location, otherwise place was superb!

We like the decoration of the house and its design! Our stay was Perfect! Nice and Clean!

The location was in the middle of the forest ,nothing around and very quiet at night, just little bit too quiet! But if we stay alone , a bit scary but with my family members was ok
