Pjaca Residence Penthouse

Fortunately we had a Croatian driver and he was able to contact our host and was given great instructions. Our walk up to the top floor was not our favorite, but worth it. A great location and view of the square. The apartment was perfect and just as described. So centrally located.

I cannot think of any negative response to this. It was a WOW place.

The location was fabulous. Right in the center of old town which is where you want to be..

Was not expecting all the stairs...but we survived. Also initially the apartment building looks grubby but the apartment itself was very clean. Whoever decorated did a great job of making it very pleasant. Bed was good to sleep in and great air conditioning....a must in the hot weather

Location couldn't be better just steps away from the square and historical sites... The hosts were wonderful. Ivana let us in early to drop bags, while unit being (beautifully) cleaned and Ivan came when we left to carry our luggage down. Thank you

It is a penthouse ... so top floor in a building that was constructed hundreds of years before the invention of the elevator, and up four floors. But ... beautiful view, quiet and very private.

Location is perfect in City Town close to everything. Host organized pick up from airport Tom who was fabulous helping us find apartment as our flight arrived late in the evening he even helped us with our luggage up the stairs to the apartment. Communications with host was excellent and very supportive.

Bathroom shower was step in bath, the shower head had to be held by hand, we were there for one night so not fussed for one night. A lot of stairs to climb we were on the top floor we managed however would be difficult for some.

This bright top floor apartment is right in the heart of the old city, and our hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and we much appreciated their help carrying our bags up and down the four flights of stairs. Guest-friendly touches are everywhere, and we wanted for nothing. A lovely find!

If you’re tall, watch your head on the sloping ceiling when getting out of bed!

Superlatives on all fronts. The hosts were extremely supportive both in assisting on our arrival in a hire car in central Split, and helping with parking, and then pulling our suitcases through the pedestrianised area. Once in the apartment, every effort was made to make our stay feel very special - nothing was too much trouble, and we felt comfortable in communicating with them whenever we had any questions about the apartment, about the general area, places to visit, best restaurants, ice cream parlours, etc But the location was THE biggest plus - right in the centre of the historic part of the city, overlooking the very beautiful central square, close to everything a holidaymaker could dream of...historic sights, interesting shops and markets, nice places to eat and drink, the waterfront and harbour, and if you are keen to walk a little further, the beaches. It is easy to travel out to the islands by boat, or venture into the gorgeously attractive hinterland. So much to do, but sometimes it was nice just to do very little and soak up the bustling atmosphere, and retreat into the apartment with ease whenever we wanted to.

Unfair to mention anything negative, as long as you don't mind walking up four flights of stairs to reach the apartment, especially with daily outside temperatures of 32-35 degrees C every day. But to then open the door and feel the welcoming air conditioning on arrival was fantastic! Possibly having a second set of keys would have been useful as well.

The location is great, right in the old town. The apartment is lovely, spacious -we were two adults and two children. Everything was there, and even a couple of beers for us in the fridge. Would definitely go back

We didn't mind, but the apartment is up at least 4 floors, so it's lots of steps... It would be hard work with very young kids

Beautiful spot over looking the main square, great facilities. Lovely hosts they met us at the door and were very responsive.

There was a coffee machine which was nice in the morning. The location was in town center so close to great cafes and restaurants. The host Ivan greeted me and told me to reach out if I needed anything. A very clean apartment and I will definitely recommend it to other friends.

No complaints I will definitely stay here again if I visit Split
