Élveztünk a Duna közelségét. Megközelítés egyszerű volt. A lakás jól felszerelt, szuper volt 1-2 kellemetlenséget leszámítva.

A teljes ottlétünk alatt kellemetlen szag volt a lakásban, amit jeleztem is. Sajnos később a ruháink is átvették ezt a szagot. Az ajtók, ablakok számunkra nem voltak tiszták.

The property was equipped with everything you need for the comfortable stay.

The bathroom stank of dampness and sewage. We arrived around 5 pm indicating this time before, however the housekeeping was still there at that time, which created a confusion as the cleaner didn’t speak any other language except Hungarian. When I called customer service just to ensure that the apartment is booked only by us, the representative was very rude.

"The worst ever travelling experience after 67 visiting countries."

The location was ok

Worst ever place and experience in the 30 years i am travelling and 67 countries visited. We asked to check in at 11 am, they said initially ues, finally it was 3pm cause they had to clean the place. And when we entered: - the building was dirty and dangerous to stay - in the appartment there were 4 spots with spider nets - spots of dirt in 2 places - juices from sexual activity on the sofa bed - inside terrible smell from humidity and molds. We at once contacted property and booking.com. They asked us to take photos, we took 19 and we sent them all. We have to leave and search for another place to stay (Saturday to Wednesday). Property replied that they will come with a solution. Booking replied that we will wait 48h for the reply. From Saturday to Monday, no response from the property. So i contacted both booking and the property again. 48h had passed but neither response nor refund. Just booking send us a 49euros gift for the bad experience. Finally, 2 hours before our boarding and being in the airport, the property team responded that "they have a pro team to clean, buildings in budapest are old so these things happen, we had to wait on Saturday someone to come and clean(!) and not leave the place. Of course, they sai they will not refund us. They managed to ruin our vacations, we paid 2 times more for another accommodation since it was impossible to stay a minute in this place and on top they waited 5 days to respond that "they feel bad about our experience, they did all right tho and will not refund". For ethical reasons, and for the way we got treated, we will use all legal means available to find justice. I uploaded only 4 photos- there are 19 available. Still we wonder whu we did not get refunded at once or at least 48h after reporting the issue- having the property not responding at all.

"Exceptional"

Apartment is a good size and is well equiped. Was very clean and quiet. Not suitable for anyone with a physical disability as is on second floor with no lift, but we managed fine even though we are oldies. Plenty of choice on tv if you want to stay in. Good internet. Great shower.

Would benefit from a fan in bedroom to supplement the aircon, which was good. Maybe couple of extra small towels and black out blinds.

Spülmaschine hat nicht funktioniert. Es hat immer nach Kanal gestunken. Pfanne war alt und nicht mehr wirklich brauchbar.

"Bad communication"

Excellent location. Quiet, beautiful neighbourhood. Lovely place. Very clean.

What didn't we like? COMMUNICATION. 1. the hosts provide a WhatsApp were they send automatic useless messages; they also provide a phone number were you have to go through automatic answers, press a few keys and when finally seems like it's really ringing they don't answer. 2. to enter the building you need to get through the gate, we did not understood the code provided, not even watching the explaining video, finally figuring out. 3. we did not know where to turn on the lights in the courtyard and on the stairs, so we used our phone flashlights. 4. inside was cold and then our ordeal started. The thermostat said there were 20 degrees Celsius (no way) expected to be 26!, the AC was turned on set to 30. We went wandering hoping in a few hours would get warmer, when we got back it was the same, that's when we tried to get in touch with them (19:00), we tried by phone, it didn't work, so we wrote in the Booking.com chat box, where the whole conversation took place. They told us to turn on the heating, the knobs, ... At 22:00 they asked if wanted them to send someone, we said yes and they started to find excuses not to send anyone that night and they said that someone will come the next day. Conversation stopped at 22:30. In the morning inside were 15.4 degrees Celsius. The next days it was warm. If it wouldn't have been that heating problem we wouldn't have noticed the lack of communication and we would rate the place 10, probably. We spoke to more than one person, in the beginning they told their names, later they signed "team". I travel a lot and it was the first time I couldn't get in touch with the host by phone or WhatsApp.
