Amalfi Residenza Centrale

Beautifully tiled and painted.

On arrival we had to pay €50 more than initially quoted for cleaning and electricity! We were fine with the city tax as that is common practice in Italy. After having paid extra for cleaning, the apartment was not cleaned once in 3 days. We were each given 1 towel for : days, no hand towels provided. There are no windows so once you are inside you are completely cut off from the world. Totally inadequate kitchen area.

Very clean, brand new very modern refurbish, unusual layout. Spacious bedroom, comfortable bed. Kitchen facilities provided in a cupboard. Agent met and carried luggage.

Labyrinth of stairs (58) but agents escorted check-in and out, carrying luggage.Only window very high, almost claustrophobic. Limited shower height.Effort made to provide all kitchen,eating facilities yet lacking decent size teacup.

We liked the central location

Our room was extremely small with no natural light, we literally stayed in what felt like a basement. There was very little space to put our luggage in the room. Also the shower wasn't working propertly. It was also very cold in the room especially at night even though it was hot outside. Also, it was literally impossible to dry anything(such as a bathing suit).
