Amalfi Residenza Centrale

Very clean and close to the centre of town. Very quiet as it is away from the roads so very peaceful.

Quite dark as it’s built into a courtyard so not much natural light comes in. There are a lot of steps to climb unless you find the back route which begins to the left of the duomo stairs and winds along nearly to the front door. Parking is a long way away and €35/day. There is nowhere to stop near the residence so no real way of driving close and getting bags out.

very clean, perfect location and very modern. The apartment has a little kitchen but you can’t count on it to cook. although it has some utensils, I do not recommend you to rent this apartment if your idea is to cook here. if you just want to sleep and go to restaurants like we did you’ll be fine.

it doesn’t have room service and there is no phone service at all since the apartment is like a “basement”. Although wifi worked perfectly, it could be a problem if you need to make phone calls or so.
