NZLocation is great. Quiet. Good find around Rotorua. Private. Cosy. Brilliant modern kitchen, even if it could use a little TLC. One of the best we have seen.
Surprised about the wood burner being the only option to heat. Floor is noisy and creaking, causes stress if we have to get up at night for a pit stop.
NZHad most things we needed, was mostly quiet and relaxing.
Could definitely do with a fire guard around fire. There was also smoke smell throughout the house.

DEThe accommodation has a beautiful view over the lake. The kitchen is well-equipped.
The cleanness in the bathrooms could be better. The flat was very cold when we arrived and took almost 24hrs to warm the living room and the both bedrooms up with the AC and the small heater. But that is almost everywhere in NZ the same...

NZThe home was beautiful with everything you would need a fully equipped kitchen with a stocked larder, washing machine and dish washer. I loved the view from the kitchen of the lake. The view of the lake of course from the front yard was beautiful. Bedrooms were great too one big one and a smaller one. It had a hot tub too but we did not use it. A 5 minute drive to the main town area. Completely value for money - we were 4 adults and 2 children. We stayed 2 nights at another home (owned by the same person) which was behind the lake house, that was not up to the mark. The fireplace was a bit glitchy and the place could do with a thorough cleaning. We then phoned the owner and asked if we could shift to the lake house for one night and it was the best decision ever!
The bathroom could use a heater - I think it was broken/not working.
