USOur host was very accommodating and easy to get ahold of. We greatly appreciated that. The house was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The location was great, close to the beach and river.
A fan for each bedroom is needed. We spoke to the host and he agreed to get one. Also, the home is not right on the water. You're a block away. So don't expect a view from the home of the beach. Other than that, it was a fabulous stay!

The house's facilities are slightly outdated and had a bit of a smell. Improving ventilation and using some room air freshener would make the stay even much better.

A single listing on booking.com is used for 2 very separate properties. Although we were aware we were getting the property that did not face onto the lake, the position was disappointing. It was impossible to know for each review which property it was for.

Many aspects not set up to welcome guests - leftover and old decomposing food on the kitchen shelves. The kitchen cupboard smelt musty. Only 1 bedside table. Toilet seat fixed with sticky tape. Rusty stool. It’s falsely listed as a ‘Lodge’ - in reality it is someone’s apartment and felt uncared for and in need of a makeover before listing on Booking.com
