San Frediano - Apartment in the heart of Lucca

Hele centrale plek en een mooi, schoon appartement. Het is groot en van alle gemakken voorzien (vaatwasser, wasmachine etc.).

posizione centrale ottima, casa ben tenuta e molto accogliente! c'era veramente tutto all'interno, proprietari cortesi e super disponibili, attenti ad ogni esigenza! sicuramente da tenere in considerazione ove mai dovessi tornare

rumore in strada per l'affaccio della camera, ma questo non è colpa dei proprietari ma elle persone che urlano alle 2 di notte in starda. ed un po' troppe mail o comunicazioni che io personalmente tra le tante x lavoro ho rischiato di perdere e non rispondere addirittura! non volevo risultare scostumata

Very nice, modern & clean apartment with all the necessary amenities, located in the centre of the old town.

Because of the central location, it tends to be a bit noisy during the night. One can't have it all though 😉

Wonderful location in Lucca. Large apartment which allowed the freedom of feeling like a home from home.

The double bed was uncomfortable and probably broken. 2 nights without sleep.

Excellent location in the center of Lucca (we loved Lucca, much more than Pisa). Everything you need in the apartment. Very convenient.

Appartement a bit soulless, need some decorations on the walls and furniture to bring some warmth. Access by steep staircase could be an issue for older people (but it is an old building in an historic city).

Good apartment, spacious, big bathroom, Comfy bed and comfy pillows The host is very helpful, friendly and responsive- absolutely nothing wrong with her. There are stairs to go up to the apartment (hard to bring up luggage but the host kindly helped me as I was alone). Also narrow steep steps to get to the bedrooms on the second floor so I would not recommend the place for older people/people with mobility issues or families with kids. In future I would not book an apartment with 2 floors as it is annoying to constantly go up and down. Location js great very central. The street is generally quiet although in front of the building there seems to be the spot for youngsters to hang out after pizza so there was noise on the street every night (even on Mondays) until at least 12:30-1:00 am. Some things that were missing and would be good make available in the apartment are: a sponge to clean dishes as there was none so couldn’t wash any; a tea towel; some servillets; soap bottle in the shower instead of sachets. Power points - there’s a hairdryer in bathroom that cannot be used as power points are super old Italian sockets different to generic European. That’s the case with many sockets.

Great night in the center of Lucca. It was quiet. Our host was very helpful and very responsive.

One of the bedroom doesn’t have AC but it was not a problem since there is AC in the living room where there is a sofa bed.

The location was great. The rooms were big and clean. The host met us at the door and showed us around. She even helped to book a massage.

The stairs going up to the property were very steep and narrow. If it would have been just me I don't think I could have carried my suitcase up. The was 1 portable AC in the living room and one in the main bedroom. Neither areas ever got cool enough. And the rooms without AC were very very warm.
