The buildling is new, with modern features (like an elevator and proper balconies), well lit and secure. The rooms were nicely furnished, with a well equipped kitchennet, washing machine and a generous closet.

The A/C unit is directed towards the bed, so it's a bit tricky to have it on while you are sleeping.

The Elisabeth apartmetns are right in the middle of the VII distrcit in the old Jewish town behind one of the synagogues. The building is brand new and very modern and is probably only short term rental apartments. Ours was a single bedroom, with a nice bedroom and a living room with a kitchen. It was spacious enough and had a small balcony to sit on. Our view was into the courtyard, which is probably a good thing as this is a very party oriented area and there are tonnes of pubs and bars around. We did not however hear any of that in our apartment. Since the place is brand new it was also super clean. We had two bottles of water in the fridge and there was a Nespresso machine with a couple of coffee tablets, which we did not use. The best part about the apartment is the location if you do not mind all the bars. We ended up walking everywhere, even though Budapest is big.

Some people might not enjoy the location and all the pubs and bars.

Very clean and it has everything that you might need for a comfortable stay. It’s located on a busy street with a lot of bars but the room is looking to the inner yard of the building which means that there is no outside noise. Superb location that’s minutes walking distance from nice bars, restaurants and landmarks. Friendly and helpful staff, quick and easy check-in even after 10 pm.

Being a bit older I felt a bit unsure in the shower without shower safety handrail.

The people we encountered in he office were unfriendly and not helpful
