No lighting on the up to the hotel which makes it challenging at night to get to it. Food isn’t great

The views are exceptional and like nothing we have seen. It’s a leisure hotel and is calm and serene place. The location is secluded and at the top of the hill so in terms of privacy and relaxation it’s the best but at the same time it has its own cons. There is nothing else around the place like restaurants or other activities. You have to travel 1 hour to go to the city to explore other places. The staff is polite and helpful.Overall a great experience.

The only feedback we thought could have made the trip perfect was the choice of food. It is limited and after 2 days you get tired of the same menu.

Beautiful view and incredible architecture

- Reaching the structure is very complicated, dangerous road. We didn’t know that. There is a tuk tuk transfer service available but they didn’t tell us before arriving. - Bed sheets smelt bad - nobody speaks a good English - after 10 PM nobody answers from the reception - Wi-Fi not working well - problems with hot water in the shower - no cocktails available, only beer The structure is beautiful for the view and the architecture so it’s a shame that the services aren’t good enough.

The staff, especially the manager, Shalika, went out of their way to make sure we had a great visit. Shalika arranged a full-day sightseeing tour of Kandy - and then drove us himself and provided very interesting explanations about every site and cultural highlights. He made our trip to Kandy very special and personal. The view is spectacular and the rooms are big and clean.

The hotel was located farther away from the city (a 50-minute drive) than we thought - or understood from the booking.com explanation.
