Hard to fault

The views are probably some of the best views I’ve ever witnessed and it was worth the trek for that view alone. It was quiet and peaceful and the food was absolutely to die for, we loved our dinner both evenings. We loved how unique the experience was. The staff are super friendly and accommodating!

The room itself was a deluxe bedroom, it was big and spacious with a lovely balcony and great view! However, the room needs massively touched up with paint on all the furniture and walls. It didn’t match up to a 5 star hotel room. The inside of the fridge was unclean, the wardrobe, dresser and side tables were all quite dirty and need repainted. The sink in the bathroom needs bleached. There is a lot of cobwebs above the shower. There are a lot of lizards climbing in and out of the room at night and this caused me to not get any sleep and a lot of flies. There was also lizards and frogs in the bathroom. I understand that it is a nature resort but I really think with a 5 star resort, these things should be easily avoided. The bar also had no alcohol and we weren’t made aware of this upon booking. If we hadve knew we wouldn’t have booked. We found this really strange! The beds by the pool, there are only 4 and they are very uncomfortable for lounging by the pool. The pool is the only activity there so we just found it all quite frustrating! There definitely should be more activities to Do as the resort is so remote there is no point leaving the place which is another thing we didn’t realise!

Views and the staff.

The property location was very far from Kandy central. When your from a foreign country its hard to decipher locality of each place, therefore location was a thumbs down. Worst of all, it was very dirty and not work the price we paid.

The views is out of this world Everything was outstanding the facilities the food and specially the staff that went above and beyond to make the trip really unforgettable Thank you all so very much
