Green Acres Leisure Resort & Spa

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Greenacres Leisure Resort, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism, making check-in quick and seamless. My room was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and offered stunning views of the surrounding area. The amenities were top-notch, with a well-equipped fitness center, and a beautiful pool area. I also had the chance to dine at the hotel’s restaurant, where the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. What truly stood out was the attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. It’s clear that Greenacres Leisure Resort values its guests, and that level of care made all the difference. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. I’ll certainly be returning on my next visit!

GreenAcres Leisure Resort:: A Slice of Paradise Our recent stay at GreenAcres was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warm smiles and genuine hospitality from the entire staff. Their attentiveness was truly remarkable, ensuring our every need was met promptly and with a friendly demeanor. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable. Every corner sparkled, creating a relaxing and hygienic environment throughout our stay. The food served was consistently fresh and flavorful. But the real showstoppers were the stunning pool and breathtaking views. The pool itself was a haven of tranquility, inviting us to unwind and soak in the sun. And the surrounding scenery was simply awe-inspiring. We spent hours marveling at the picturesque landscapes, capturing the beauty in photos and etching the memories deep within our hearts. Without hesitation, I would recommend Green Acres to anyone seeking a truly unforgettable getaway. It's a place where exceptional service, cleanliness, delicious food, and breathtaking natural beauty converge to create an idyllic retreat. The gym was also a real bonus for a morning workout and stretch.

Fantastic hotel for a complete getaway, the staff couldn't do enough for us whilst we were there. Laid on cookery classes, walking tours... Just the best personalised service ever. And the food is just amazing

The road to the hotel is very steep and loads of turns to keep that in mind if you don't like that type of drives.

Do not go here if you care about your safety, health, experience or value for money. Due to prior reviews, we contacted the resort the ahead of time to confirm what mode of transportation would be safest. The resort advised that taxi/car would be acceptable. It was absolutely not. Our local Sri Lanka guides who had been taking care of us in the days prior drove us via car and it was extremely dangerous, they did not feel comfortable whatsoever and told us not to stay there. The roads were (understandably) windy, narrow and steep and not at all safe via car. The resort should meet guests on arrival to the main road and transport them up the mountain safely via tuktuk. We were highly distressed from this experience, and we trusted our guides who advised it was not safe. The car would roll downhill with no control, our safety was compromised. As such, the resort provided us with the wrong information. Do NOT attempt to access this resort via car, better yet, avoid it altogether. Unfortunately the experience was entirely downhill from there. The manager was rude and dismissed two young female travellers who were visibly shaken and upset by the dangerous drive. We also had no sleep overnight at this resort as the outside lights were not able to be turned off and there was no blind. The doors/windows were not sealed, allowing for insects/animals to enter, so we had to tape it up ourselves with trash bags. We cut our stay here short and left promptly. The risk of falling off the mountain and getting dengue fever is not worth the view. Avoid this place at all costs. You’ll waste your money and time and the manager/resort will ruin your holiday. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with amazing accommodation options with better service and prices, just don’t come here please. Zero stars. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
