Courtyard looked OK.

Location in industrial area with construction work and a lot of dust all around. Could not breath just outside the main gate. Room lacked in hot water all 3 days. Upon complaining 1st day, the person at reception said "we will check the motor"; however, instead a Tech came by in our room and drained a lot of water till the entire bathroom floor got wet and finally some hot water came by. He said because of the pipe distance overnight it takes a while to get hot water in the room - it was not an acceptable explanation for a hotel claiming 4-star. Hot water stopped coming after he left. Same scenario all throughout. Complained 2nd and 3rd day too with no good resolution. The Tech would come, drained a lot of water and hardly some 'Luke-warm' water would come for some time. On the day of check-out, we took shower practically with cold water. The weather was cold out there and it did not give a good feeling. During check-out, I asked the person at the reception desk to give some discount in room rate due to this constant and known issue. He acknowledged the issue, but just shrugged and declined and charged us full price! How unprofessional and discourteous that was! We paid the full price without getting a basic necessity such as hot water in a 'supposedly 4-star' hotel. We would neither stay here again nor recommend this hotel to a friend.

The price is not at all justified for the location + breakfast buffet spread provided at the property. At this price, this is not at all justified. The bathroom was not clean, we requested facial tissues to be kept but the staff was ignorant about it. The overall cleanliness of the room was not as per the price being charged for this property. You can get Marriott by paying 3K extra.

i like the exterior of the building only.

I wanted some help regarding my one-day cancellation out of my 3 nights bookings, but hotel staff was very unsupportive & was not ready to help, didn't provide any resolution. Also, rooms were not cleaned as per Sarovar portico standards & I have stayed at Haridwar's property which is very beautiful & clean, there, staff is also very supportive. but here at Jaisalmer I didn't find this property as per The Sarovar Portico standards at all.
