Jozankei Onsen Yurakusoan

Everything was perfect from the bus ride to our stay. It was the best onsen experience we have had. We will recommend Yurakusoan to everyone.

Private onsen room is so beautiful, The amenities are perfectly placed in each location. Dinner and breakfast is so good and it meet my expactation (authentic Japanese) shabu shabu, ramen after shabu, shabu porridge.

The onsen water in the room might not be as hot as expected because I don't know how to mix the water properly; I'm not as skilled as a professional.

There was not only a big public bath available for all guests, but also 4 incredible private Hot Spring baths. The rooms are big and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were exceptional with mainly Japanese cuisine. All in all it was incredibly relaxing and comfortable with a lot of great experiences.

Der Raum mit Onsen im Zimmer und der tollen Aussicht auf den Fluß und die Berge. Das Hotel ist extrem sauber, die Atmosphäre sehr entspannt. Man bekommt Yukatas und Socken gestellt und benötigt im Hotel keine Straßenkleidung oder Schuhe. Die 4 privaten Onsenbäder sind wirklich ein Erlebnis, vor allem im Dunklen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr flott und immer zur Stelle! Einfach unglaublich guter Service! Mit Hilfe von ein bisschen Englisch, etwas Japanisch und dem Google Übersetzer sind wir gut zurecht gekommen. Das Abendessen ist sehr gut und umfangreich. Man kann ein Mehrgänge Menü für ca. 50 € pro Person buchen. Das Internet auf dem Zimmer ist schnell und stabil. Auch wenn in den Angaben auf booking steht, es gäbe kein Internet? Die Autos werden in einem Parkturm mit Roboter geparkt, sind also auch bei Schnee gut geschützt. Um die Ecke sind mehrere kleine Läden fürs Nötigste, mit langen Öffnungszeiten.

Das deftige Frühstück mit viel Fisch und Tofu-Fisch Eintopf am Morgen, ist für Europäer etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Wer es deftig mag, wird begeistert sein und man kann natürlich auch ohne Frühstück buchen. Dies gehört mit zum traditionellen Erlebnis.

Walking distance to many local sites. Near bus stop. Very accessible. It was also clean.

The property was nice and we enjoyed our stay. We usually do a yearly onsen as a group and were talking about how we wanted to stay again. Unfortunately we did have a negative experience when we checked out. A female staff member with wavy short hair made a comment about us making our “driver wait for a very long time”, when our pick up time was 11:30am and it was only 11:15 am when she said that. We checked out a bit before 11am and just wanted to savor the place one last time. At 11:15 am we were back in the lobby when the staff member hurriedly went to us and whisked our bags away, visibly upset. Of course we were confused since we had a group chat with the drivers that we have hired for the trip and their operator. Our pick up time was 11:30am to which we were on time for but when we asked why the sudden rush, we only got a head shake and a tsk from the older front staff and the comment about making our ride wait, when there was no issue at all. The terms of condition is the ride will arrive earlier than pick up time. I think thats pretty standard. 🤷🏻‍♀️ too bad our stay ended on a sour note of being judged.

スタッフの皆さんのおもてなしがとても良かったです。客室もキレイで楽でしたので、温泉の後、ゆっくり休めました。食事も全部美味しかったです ! 出発の日は無料シャトルバスも利用も出来ました。

札幌駅から少し遠いですが、無料シャトルバスが一日に1回しかないことが残念でした。
