Rooms at Tauranga CBD

It was fine for last minute accomidation. Rooms were lockable. On-site parking, but not enough for all guests.

The house was always unlocked for people to come and go. Not great having to share a bathroom and putting up with other people's bathroom etiquette. Beds were not comfortable and curtains were moldy barely covering the windows.

I would not consider this to be a particularly clean place to stay; there is certainly room for improvement. Other than that, alright for a night stay.

the lack of lighting. no television or radio in the main room or my room, top floor shower not working so everyone staying had to use the single bathroom downstairs

Great Location and free parking that makes the place great.

Property needs some maintenance and looks like owner doing it slowly which still makes this accommodation better than backpacker.

Not clean at all. Whole house was terribly smelling. Went to have a shower but no water. When I called the property guy the reply was; "previous man said the same, I will attend to it tomorrow" You have to enter the house from the rear door. The front door is permanently welded. No fire alarm and no fire exits. You are not allowed to close the rear door even at night. It's very dangerous 😳 Very poor ventilation in the room and not even a fan is provided. All the conversations happen over the phone. I booked a room for three nights but canceled it within four hours after going there. You may wonder whether a place can be this terribly. Book and have your own experience.

No cold water in shower, no cleaning in bathroom

I liked that the place was close to everything and reasonably priced. Outside granny flat was nice and quiet

Unfortunatley there were missing lights, sheets and linens were quite dusty and smelt ( the smaller beds were uncomfortable) and the people staying with us were loud, rowdy, drinking, and had two strangers staying with them one of the nights.
