Seaside Hostel Malapascua

I stayed 6 nights here, I loved my room on the top floor, it was my happy place, very nice view and so relaxing place! The place is very essential, if you don’t have big expectations will be fine for you (:

I think they normally don’t provide towel Unless you ask for it, but my first night I didn’t have one. Also no bar or restaurant

Je suis déjà venue il y a 2 ans et c'était tout aussi agréable. L'eau de la douche n'est plus salée. C'est très calme le soir et proche de tout. De l'eau est disponible à l'accueil. Vue incroyable du balcon su haut sur coucher de soleil.

Cependant, la clim dans la chambre ne marchait plus (j'ai oublié de le signaler). Il n'y a plus de cuisine non plus. La prise est loin du lit...

The terrace was a great place to be, a sea view, watch the sunset and dry clothes.

I booked the last room, I don't mind small but it was so much smaller than the photos. A double bunk bed, but only enough room for one person to walk around the bed. This was not the main problem, the problem was two walls were constantly wet, running with rainwater, one that held the electrics so dangerous and sparkling! All my clothes were made damp and wouldn't dry. When I told staff they pretended not to know. Clearly walls had been painted to cover the problem and when the bed was stripped the bedding was mouldy! Serious health issues! I left early, I was told I would be refunded for the extra days but this never happened and the manager just stopped messaging. Reception was often only available if guests were checking in/ out. The advertised kitchen no longer exists and there was never any water in the dispenser. I believe the upstairs rooms were better but the terrace was the only good thing for me.

It’s situated close to the center and the port. The room was okay for the price and felt clean but basic

Sometimes hard to forget find staff and they couldn’t provide me a towel.
