Such a welcoming stay - felt like a home away from home. They definitely did everything they could to make sure my stay was the best.

I spent my last day and night in Negombo and stayed at the Airport Gateway Residency. The accommodation is close to the airport and very nice! The room was clean and extremely big and the two hosts were super nice and could recommend me some good places in Negombo. :)

We loved the warm family atmosphere and the beautiful house. The green wall/ indoor garden was a work of art. We were very happy that we could use the kitchen (for a little extra cash). They spoiled us with fruits of their garden en explained every plant around the house. Very interesting! We felt very comfortable/ at home and loved hanging out with Julian. Perfect stay close to the airport.

The mosquitos, but they helped us to get rid of them :)

Beautiful and spacious house with really super friendly and helpful hosts! It’s near the airport so I highly recommend it especially for the first or last day/s in Sri Lanka!

I liked the home decor, the house got a nice big garden with jungle wall in the living room. Abundant light comes in, which is great to read a book or just enjoy the nice open space. The bedroom was spacious and there's handy mini fridge. Room is provided with bathroom and shower. Julian and his father Nissan* (sorry if I misspelled it) are excellent hosts, plus their cooking skills is top level. I highly recommend to try their cuisine if you like to taste Sri Lankan local food. Very positive experience with you feel like home vibes, they're up to help with queries on what to visit in the area (e.g. ⛱️ beach not too far from here) if you're up for a walk, or a ride in Tuk Tuk, which we really appreciated.
