Bonfire Hostels Rishikesh

Good location. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Nice rooftop terrace. Lovely food. Friendly staff.

I was unaware at the time of booking that it’s normal for hostels not to have heating in the accomodation, even during the winter months. My host kindly gave me another thick blanket for my bed though so…problem solved!

The room was spacious, location quite good, in the middle of reconstruction around but 5-7min by walking to the main street and about 15-20 to the Ganges river. Breakfast food also good, cooked at the place, served just made. We could select from omlette, paratha with yoghurt, sandwich (somehow was provided only one day, other days not allowed anymore), tea/coffee, Indian masala chai, banana. They provided a heater to the room. Water was free but bottles filled in by the hotel guy, not ourselves. Thank you very much! :)

The room was cold in the beginning of January and we asked for heater because AC didn't work. During checkout they wanted to charge us for a heater, but finally applied no charges. Music on the roof until 11 pm-1 am sometimes, so be ready for some noise. We didn't see a beautiful view from the roof or our room, only buildings around, no Ganga view as other guests mentioned. Please be direct writing comments! Breakfast was fresh but the last day the boy who serves it was out and we didnt have it (though it was included into our reservation). Later the admin guy solved the issue and breakfast were served at 5pm. For appologies we were allowed to check out at 5 pm. Thanks for that too.

Everything, staff was amazing, food was amazing, activities were amazing, definitely coming back!

The staff and the owner are good. They treated very well.

Location and personnel. Decan valley is very chill and close to everything The personnel tried to assist us to what we needed

We paid for the Mountain View but the view were blocked by building right in front The rooftop had very loud music till past 10pm even if there were no event there
