CampingSite Swimming Pool

The owner was nice and helpful we stayed in the big dorm which is newly build. Theres great view of the mountians. Its 15 mins walking distance to the caves and viewpoint start.

Big double bed, clean and comfy, mountain view, several hike entries nearby, city centre at walking distance (2km), restaurants and mini markets not too far away, delicious breakfast included

You cannot use the pool, way too dirty; no privacy in the big dorm, no lockers, small lamps for the beds would have been nice or something to hang up your clothes in the shower, no drying rack or anything; some fans in the dorm for hot days would be nice

The cabins are really cute and the nature/ the view is amazing. We had dinner which was really tasty.

The pool was so dirty that you can’t use it unfortunately. Also the breakfast was some scrambled egg with plain butter toast, which didn’t taste bad but nothing fresh at all, no vegetables and no fruits.

Nice huts to sleep in, quiet at night, very good food, nice mountain view, cost vibes

It’s pretty far out from town, huts are very basic (nowhere to put your stuff), bathrooms and toilets are not so clean

The loveliest hosts, the woman who runs this place is a rockstar and runs around to accommodate everyone. She cooks delicious food and breakfast is provided. A bit of a walk from town so it’s a nice place to relax and they did drive us into town for our bus back to LP which was such a win. We came back here after our trek and extended our stay :) warm showers & simple but clean bungalows.

As others said, the pool is definitely not the cleanest but just hop down to the river for a swim :)

The place is basically a scam operation, set up to make people book online, and agree to pay before seeing it. Way to expensive compared to every other Lao guesthouse. If you are looking to budget travel, you are way better off going to any of the local guesthouses. They will charge you a third of the price, and offer much better services.

-The Pool is in terrible condition, and they charge an additional 50.000 kip to swim in what is basically a body of still and dirty water. - The rooms are in very bad shape, build 20 years ago and not maintained. Terrible beds, mosquito nets with holes.
