Was not allowed to check in

Booked through booking.com and got a confirmation from the property. When I arrived I was told he was fully booked and told to leave. I explained that I had booked in advance and and had a confirmation. He just said he was fully booked because of Chinese new year and again told me to leave . No sympathy no apology. This was seven in the evening and I had no where to stay . Luckily after walking the streets for an hour I managed to find a room . Lady on reception was helpful but the owner was rude and completely unhelpful.
