Modern Downtown Apartment

Location was so central Apartment extremely clean and bed super comfortable Bathroom was huge! Parking was a breeze Had everything we needed Owners very easy to communicate with and responsive

Check In process was a little confusing - I highly recommend the owners put pictures with the instructions so that all the different areas spoken about are easier to find. Felt a bit like a scavenger hunt The other thing to be aware of is the location - the location although very central is right across from a hospital so the ambulances on the Friday night we stayed were non stop With that the window in the main bedroom is pretty terrible - it’s like the insulation or thickness wasn’t as good as the others in the place? I couldn’t figure it out but it sounded like the window was open even but it definitely wasn’t so it made the sounds at night even worse So bring ear plugs! :)

Spacious apartment adequately equipped for a short stay. Well located for walking to Civil Rights sites and supermarket.

Arriving late at night as a result of a much delayed flight and disoriented having driven from Atlanta on the ‘wrong’ side of the road, the key and parking instructions were not easy to follow and we landed up initially parking in the wrong place.

We liked the convenience of the location. And the simplicity of booking it.

The space was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very pretty! Everything was clean and the host was responsive. The towels when we got there were all very damp so we had to put them into the dryer to dry. Thankfully that just means they were recently washed :) There is a bed, futon (not very comfy because you can feel the bars in the middle), dining table with two benches, and two chairs outside. There is a TV in the living room which is nice. The balcony view is very pretty too. It would be good for one night, for one person - maybe two.

First and foremost the check-in process was wild. If not for a worker who was coming in, we never would have figured it out. We had to park, use a code for two doors, find a lockbox with a key fob, use the key fob to open the gate to the parking garage, then move the car into the gated area. Then go through a door in the garage using the fob, get on the elevator, and then a very long code on the unit door. The employee who helped us told us that he had never before found the BRINX box we needed, but thankfully he did that day. We also had to cross an entire alley to get to the gated area where the box was located. It was a bit overkill in our minds. Checking out was nearly just as complicated also. Our feet were filthy after walking around on the floors for a bit, but otherwise things seemed quite clean. No tv in the bedroom. There were no paper towels, 1 coffee cup, no silverware, no coat hangers, no laundry stuff for the washing machine and dryer. Towels on arrival were too damp to be used.

This was a very nice place. It was clean and had everything I needed. They messaged me to make sure everything was going smooth. Couldn't ask for a better place, right in the middle of downtown. You are walking distance from everything. And had a pretty nice view of downtown. I would definitely recommend to stay here. If I'm ever in birmingham I will be looking for this apartment. Thank you for making my stay feel like home.

It was clean, modern, in a great location, gated and covered parking.

Nothing!! We will definitely stay there in the future for all of our Birmingham trips.
