Sigiriya Peacock Homestay

Basic room but exactly what we needed for our three nights in Sigiriya, slightly out of the center which we liked as we got to experience some of the restaurants in Kimbissa. The host family were so so lovely, we could not fault them at all, although some of their English wasn’t amazing they were so welcoming and the breakfasts and dinners were 10/10! We loved their little girl who came up to see us each day :)

Some ants in the bathroom but that’s to be expected when in the middle of the jungle

Tolles Homestay, in schöner Lage und tollem Pool. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und können es nur empfehlen!

Famille adorable, hébergement au calme en pleine nature, la piscine est très agréable et les repas sont délicieux ! Je recommande !

Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants et flexibles. La famille est toujours disponible pour nous donner les meilleurs conseils et réserver les activités . Ils nous ont sollicité afin que nous puissions voir un éléphant dans la zone de l'hôtel. Le petit-dejeuner et le repas sont très copieux et excellents. La grande piscine a rendu le séjour encore plus agréable. La petite-fille coquine est très mignonne.

Si buscas algo modesto pero funcional es perfecto. La habitación estaba limpia pero el resto de la casa estaba bastante sucia. El personal es muy amable y la piscina es estupenda.

Lovely people and good breakfast. Nice family feel. Mumma had good English. Swimming pool next door was incredible

Sometimes hard to communicate when Mamma not around. Walk to next door pool through a hole in the wall via a scruffy track. They’re building their own pool but need to do a lot of landscaping to make it as nice as next door.

Homestay sulla strada principale per raggiungere Lion Rock, ristoranti non lontani dall’accomodation ma sono necessari taxi\ tuktuk per raggiungere la via centrale. La famiglia che ci ha ospitato davvero carina e disponibile, la colazione era deliziosa e abbondante!

Stanza umida, servizio igienico molto basilare
