Sigiriya Peacock Homestay

Loved staying here for two nights. Good location, very clean and comfortable room. Pool was so nice and peaceful, lovely family hosts, good breakfasts. Our favourite was our dinners we had both nights which were truly superb!

Very lovely home stay! We stayed in the spacious family room which had a nice terrace in front and also used the refreshing shared pool „next door“. The owners were more than nice and welcoming, preparing tasty basic food for dinner and breakfast and helped with every question / request. A clear recommendation.

An electricity black out which the owners of course could not compensate.

The hosts were super caring and helpful. The food was delicious, we got a big offer on different srilankan food. The pool was amazing and perfect to relax after our travel and sightseeing.

Our AC was very loud and turned on automatically. I guess our hosts would have helped us if we would have told them, but we stayed only one night :)

More of a suggestion for improvement: a system to contact the host would have been helpful (a doorbell or a WhatsApp number?) Otherwise, nothing to fault it was perfect!

We loved Kumari and her gorgeous family! She was so helpful for any requests, made great breakfasts (and dinner is amazing if you ask in advance), and the pool was lovely.

Nothing! You need a Tuktuk to get anywhere but that’s the same anywhere in Sigiriya and Kumari was so helpful organising them for us.
