Chill terrace at the first floor, shared swimming pool with the sigiryia cottage ( really clean, well maintained), and really good breakfast! Walking distance to the rocks ( 30 mins )

The most welcoming family! We booked a room half an hour before arriving but nothing but smiles from them. The room was very clean and the pool was a lot bigger than expected. The mother cooked the best curry I've had so far in Sri Lanka. For a small amount she will do your laundry (without shrinking your clothes) All in all the perfect place to get back up to energy.

The room is very clean, there was a nice pool but most of all was the family super friendly and arranged everything for us! They even did our laundry. We felt very welcome and would recommend this place to everyone.

I loved my my stay at Peacock Homestay. After a few hit & miss experiences, this was a lovely surprise. I had a spacious modern bedroom, with comfy bed, mini fridge, fan, air con, a spacious bathroom with an excellent shower plus a large balcony. There is also a beautiful huge pool out back if you have time for a dip. I was too busy. The family are super friendly and will assist with any request. The breakfast was very tasty & generous. I honestly could not fault my stay and the beautiful hospitality I received. One annoyance was the mosquitos which unfortunately comes with Sri Lanka it would seem! I asked another property if they spray and apparently there is an export ban on pesticides.

We stayed here for 2 nights and the family were absolutely lovely, the room was huge, very clean and felt very new and they had thought of everything (fridge, lots of plugs, lamp, towel rack, mosquito net) and very good AC. The pool was really refreshing after a day hiking. The breakfast was delicious of toast, fruit, omlette and pancakes. 10/10 stay and would recommend to everyone. Very good location only a 25 minute walk to sigiriya rock and about 45 to piagdrugala rock. Tuktuk only about 10/15 mins. They helped us with a tuktuk ride to dambulla bus station for a very good price.
