The room is quite spacious, and it had a nice balcony area. The location is very convenient along the water front, only a short tuk tuk away from major tourist destinations.

You have to pay a deposit, which was fine but I didn't have to do that at any other hotel.

Let The Following Be Warned If You Plan to Stay at ChilChill Hotel: Health and safety hazards were everywhere; dust and stains covered all surfaces, including a Filthy shower head, a Filthy toilet paper roll cover, to name just a couple (please see pictures for details), exposed electrical wires, a detached bathroom vent, and a sagging desk. After numerous requests for cleaning and fixing while staying for two nights to give the hotel many chances to rectify these issues, the hotel refused to clean or repair them as a hotel was supposed to.

I booked for four nights but stayed for only two nights. No one should subject her/himself to such horrible conditions!!! The hotel owner, who I saw in the lobby, and the front desk staff refused to clean, fix, and rectify the issues I presented. I only took the shower once after noticing how filthy the shower head was! The owner even refused to replace those non-woking/burned-out light bulbs despite many requests when I checked in and brought up all those issues to the front desk. Three ceiling lights on the right-hand side of the bed had no switch for turning off and stayed on all day and night, and the staff told me there was nothing they could do, so good luck if you try to sleep!!
