CHILCHILL Hotel Riverside

After a bit of a rant, the young receptionist apologised for inconvenience and again when we checked out.

Could have been cleaner. Tv had unviewable screen (as well as only about 6 Cambodian channels and nothing more). Safebox did not work, although they changed the safe but new safe also didn't work. Bedside light did not work although they replaced that. Lock on balcony door was broken, therefore, entrance was accessible. The room was not cleaned or bins emptied in 4 days and I had to constantly ask reception for toilet rolls and water. 1 warm shower in 4 days. The rest were cold. Idiot night receptionist told me they don't do food, but do beer and cocktails in the sky bar. He then ordered the lift for us to go there. We arrived to absolute darkness as apparently the sky bar was not opening for another few days. The staff simply don't understand basic hospitality. And photo on booking.com shows picture of the river from hotel balcony. This must be old as there is now a building in the way.

The place is close by city and the hotel is clean and safe . Our room was spotless and incredibly comfortable. The staffs are friendly and helpful .Heng is my favorite staff , he helps me a lot .

Property is very clean n can stay with family too staff is very co operative n very peaceful
