CHILCHILL Hotel Riverside

The location was really good, close to the night market and river but not too close to not be able to sleep from the noise. The room was really comfortable. The only flaw was the dust that was everywhere. However the staff were really friendly and welcoming.

They come every 3 days for cleaning services and even the cleaning was really fast and not that well because the dust is everywhere even in the closets. the room needs deep cleaning. There is dust everywhere in the reception, the stairs.

Bathroom stunk of urine Staff demanding $30 deposit to stay in the room when it had already been paid for Staff aggressively expressing the odd check in and out time Room and windows not clean and not for a long time WiFi password not provided at check in and it took 5 trips downstairs to finally get the correct one. Big shit stain on one of the towels Crap, noisy location

Close enough to walk to/from the bus station. Comfy bed. Modern bathroom with hot, contained shower. Tea-coffee making facilities available. Neither a like or dislike - The room was like a uni student flat.

Be aware that check-in is from 3pm and they will charge for early check in. Can leave bags at reception beforehand. They also require a $30 security deposit, which seems extravagant given the cost of a night’s stay, and no where else asks this. The view is over industrial size pipes and lots of litter. It is quite a walk to the city centre.
