Vernice Backpacker Hostel

An okay place to spend a night or two. Good social area to hang out and talk to people. Staff were kind. Offered to take me to airport for a small fee.

Private room but bathroom needs work. Toilet bowl had no cover. Bed was not comfy. Electrical outlets not near bed, no place to charge devices properly.

Good stuff, cheap price, good location, good WiFi, laundry. Total it's good place for spending several nights

Our host was the best part about the hostel- he was so helpful and kind. He organised our SIM cards, onward transfer and was very generous offering food every time we saw him!

It was dated and not the cleanest, but had a good social area to hang out/ cook in.

They were accommodating for me and gave me a private space when I asked. I was not able to sleep in the dormitory.

On booking they say breakfast included. In Actuallity it's not. One thing is they say it is available between 7:30 and 8:30 am. Most travelers sleep in til at least 8:00am. I was up to get breakfst but there was no one else up and there was no food to make your own brkfst. This same thing happened both mornings that I stayed there. So they should not include that on their site. Or they should be responsible and actually provide breakfast.
