Vernice Backpacker Hostel

Located in a quiet surrounding.

-Spitting and sneezing publicly by one lady (staff) and some guests. -One staff (lady) was a bit rude and couldn't communicate.

It's cheap

Bed had no pillow, sheets were dirty, there was only one shower

Its a genuine Backpacking place. Wounderfull simpel. Everything works fine absolute no extra fancy things and I just love it! On top of that you meet real Backpackers with a lot of information.

-The Indian guy, once up, was a bit more welcoming that the other female and male staff - The room was big - the mattress seemed clean and wasn't uncomfortable

- the hostel which IS NOT in the town center and uncared for! - the room was dirty (the bathroom towel of the previous guest was still hanging, toilet paper in the shower and sink, pee in the toilet, toilet bin was full - when I put it out to be emptied, the woman just turned it over and a lot of mess stayed attached to the bin which seemed to have not been cleaned for ages if ever! Disgusting! - the A/C is an antique and wasn't sending any cold air (the room was hot till about 2 or 3 am) - the toilet is broken and sends back things already flushed! - the outside area to chill is a real mess with dirty stuff everywhere. Very unwelcoming :( We left after a night. We found a cheaper room, closer to the city center, with lovely hosts!! .

You get what you pay at the guuesthouse; you can cook for your food for free. Sandip the guy who mananges the gh can give you the direction to get your food at a supermart. He's such a great help.

The man who worked there Sandeep very helpful and accommodating

there is only one bathroom in the entire hostel and the beds wernt very comfortable

What i liked was the space of the terrace and can wash clothes then hang them dry.

It needs more improvement even it can look simple but clean and relaxing
