The lodge is a quiet place inside, and I really loved the unique curvature of the building—it has a very nice design. The rooms were decent, and the toilets were clean and well-maintained. They even provided tissues, which was a nice touch. There was hot water in the showers, so we didn’t have to worry about water temperature. The building has an elevator, which is convenient, though it did get stuck once during my stay. Thankfully, I just took the stairs, which gave me a bit of exercise.

Unfortunately, the downsides made our stay less enjoyable. The most significant issue was the lack of Wi-Fi. As a remote worker, this was very problematic for me. Despite the booking site advertising Wi-Fi availability, there was none during my entire stay. When I inquired with the admin, they mentioned they were working on it, but it was never resolved. I ended up spending extra money to buy mobile data just to get my work done. The showers were another concern. Of the 6-7 showers available, only two were functioning, and they were outdated—you had to keep pressing a button to get water. Some showers were dirty, with grime and dried-up dirt from previous users. This was quite off-putting, though I appreciated that there was hot water. The building itself is old and shows signs of wear and tear. Some lights and floor skirting were coming loose, which detracts from the overall experience. Another thing to note is that the lodge operates as student accommodation, so there are no cooking pots provided. While they do have a fridge, stove, and microwave, you’ll need to bring your own pots if you plan to cook. Lastly, the lodge is located on busy roads, so there’s some noise from trucks and cars, though this is to be expected given its location.

The toilet I didn’t know it was a student accommodation But you know in tourism we have back packers apartment so I get it
