Merchants Street Valletta Apartment

Fantastic location for our 11-day stay over the Easter holidays. The processions came right in front of the building and there is so much to do and see in Malta and Gozo. This is a very nice, clean, well cared for apartment with a good kitchen, good heating/cooling, netflix on tv and a great shower. It is a little noisy at night but when you close the door between the bedroom and the living room you won't hear a thing. Also the lock on the the second of the two doors leading into the building is finicky but once you figure it out it does work. Note that when you pick up the key for the first time the lock box is on the left hand side of the first outside door. We would definitely stay there again.

Couch is incredibly uncomfortable and way too low to the ground. Longer legs would at least improve the height issue. For me the bed was too soft but for my husband it was fine.

The apartment is in the heart of the old city, it is decorated with taste, it is very clean and has all the necessary utilities. The host is extremely kind and careful. One can find dishware, pots, a toaster, an electric kettle etc, and even some basic food ingredients. On our arrival, we were offered a bottle of Maltese wine and one of water by the host. We fully recommend this property!

Everything was perfect and according to the photos. The hosts have high standards of quality.

Location and layout/space

Very noisy but that is because located right in centre.

Beautiful apartment right in the middle of Valletta. Exceptional communication with the owners who entertained our requests and messages even late into the night. Comfortable fluffy bed, great location, and is in a safe neighbourhood - great for a couple's retreat or a family with kids. The property is exactly as how it is advertised in the photos.

The apartment is located above a restaurant which could be a tad noisy - rather negligible after 11pm. This is by no fault of the owner.

The apartment was centrally located. Only a minute walk to the central market and about 10 minutes to the main bus station. The apartment looks just like its photos, if not better! The host was very helpful and kind enough to let us stay till 13.00 instead of 11am. The facilities were great. Everything was thought of, coffee machine with capsules, dishwasher, washing machine and even supplying detergent etc to use. Powerful shower and very comfortable bed and sofa. Unfortunately we didn't get to sit out on the small balcony due to the weather. Which would have been nice for our morning coffee.

The amenities inside the apartment exceeded my expectation. Wifi is fast as well. The apartment is very clean and spacious. Host is very hospitable by replying my messages within a few hours and very helpful.

The apartment doesn't have lift so i needed to weightlift my luggage up 2 floors. Also I can't figure out how to use the rainshower which the other shower is not high enough. Water temperature is lukewarm only.

Fabulous apartment, thought of everything you need. Location is perfect for staying in Valletta.
