Merchants Street Valletta Apartment

This unit is absolutely stunning and very large. It’s in the heart of Valletta on a beautiful street with lots of restaurants right out front. There is a supermarket 50 meters away which is very handy. The host is very quick to respond to any matter and the unit was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you need and also has a great washing machine and large comfortable bed. Definitely worth the stay if your wanting a luxury unit in the heart of Valletta.

You can hear noise from the restaurants downstairs and live music near by so if you’re a light sleeper it may affect you being on a Main Street however it didn’t effect me much. There was no coffee pods for the coffee machine.

I liked that the hosts alerted us to a potentially sticky key ... the key was not super sticky but knowing this ahead of time was helpful and a lovely personal touch.

There were no negatives.

Location was good for main city, no access via car

Doonas provided were soiled advised owners on the very first day and unfortunately they said they would provide new ones after the following day and never heard back nor new doonas were provided. Room itself has lots of mosquitoes that come into it.

The apartment is fantastic- after climbing stairs was a bit apprehensive but upon entering there was nothing we could fault - great location- very comfortable

Stairs were a bit of a challenge and one front door lock needs work

Nice little balcony. Good aircon. Big bed. Nice bathroom ! It was just what is needed. Close by there’s a foodhall where you can buy hot meal or downstairs there’s a market where you can buy bits to cook in the apartment.

The property is on the 3rd floor with no lift and barely any light. Coming in at night we had to use our phones to light the stairs.

Comfortable, well equipped & tastefully decorated apartment. Great location right in the middle of Valetta's shopping district, only steps away from bars, restaurants & the major attractions. Highly recommend!

Location was perfect for exploring Valletta & surroundings. Although situated above a restaurant, noise was not a problem especially when we closed shutters at bedtime. Apartment was fresh & contemporary, and had all necessary basics.

Three keys required to get into building & then apartment, two of which were fiddly & sticky to use. Lighting on communal stairs could've been better.
