Honiara Hotel

Eine wunderschöne Anlage. Der Besitzer erzählte uns stolz, wie er 1968 mit dem Bau begonnen hatte. Die Zimmer sind in kleinen Hütten, verteilt auf der Anlage in einem wunderschönen Garten, eigentlich Wald.

In die Jahre gekommen. Teils stark renovierungsbedürftig. V.a. die Pooltoiletten sind ein hygienisches Desaster. Zimmer aber sind gut. Die traumhafte Anlage entschädigt für alles. Restaurant bei unserem Aufenthalt fast immer leer, kein Wunder bei den Preisen...

Couldn't find it. No signs to say where it was. Nothing special. Overpriced for what it is.

Staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable

The bathrooms are in major need of an upgrade. There are no mosquito nets in the rooms and gaps between doors so lots can get in. You can see this would have been an amazing spot in its heyday but is probably a decade or so off that.

Room

Breakfast is extremely poor value for money. To the point not to have it at this hotel. The restaurant is also of poor value for money (incl. overcooked food). Restaurants from more luxurious hotels are marginally more expensive but incomparatively much better options for eating. You basically can get the same food in town for twice as little. Vincent.

The staff are nice and the hotel has pretty good food and pool, and an outdated ambience which has its charm.

Generally a bit run down and dated, and expensive for what it is. Rooms are clean but need updating.

Limited menu choices. Bar/restaurant area too noisy - two separate music systems competing with one another. Location is not convenient for easy access to town eg government departments
