Roosevelt Inn

The Roosevelt was very nice exceeding expectations. It was very clean, nicely furnished, had little perks which made it special and welcoming! We will be back!

If I had to find a negative, the lawn needed to be mowed.

... the Roosevelt Inn is a tastefully curated European-style Pensionné (imagine the Grand Budapest Hotel, but smaller;) with high-class accoutrements throughout & well-situated in an unpretentious but Beaches-friendly neighborhood. You won't want to leave this JAX Gem!)

Ice trays are good to have (even when the ice-maker is connected:)

Not much to say it’s really good honestly, side note owner lighten up on the cameras so people could feel more comfortable chill in that fancy living room and kitchen. Other then that if was great.

We booked the bedroom with the private bathroom, and really enjoyed our stay. Good value for money. These guys are doing everything they can to make your stay comfortable. We actually added an extra night because of it. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there’s tea, coffee and filtered water on the house. The shared spaces (living room, dining room, back yard) are beautiful, and kept nice and tiny. Roosevelt is doing a great job, he’s hardworking, and was very kind to us. Other visitors were respectful. Communication with owners was great, efficient, and made us laugh. :) A very pleasant experience, and we’re thankful for the hospitality.

The cameras inside the house (living room & dinning room) made us a little uncomfortable. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

The location and price. The room and bathroom were clean and had everything you needed. Everything was secure.

I didn’t realize there were 4 bedrooms in the house and all would be occupied or it so it seemed. I saw people come out of two other rooms at least. The bathroom sharing wasn’t a big issue but there was only one towel bar and the other room had their tv loud most of the time and had to turn my tv up to not hear theirs. The paint was peeling a bit on some walls and the AC was pretty cold and loud blowing right over the bed so I adjusted the thermostat a little. But overall for the price it was good and the house has been updated for an older neighborhood.
