Vimean Sovannaphoum Resort

Sometime no or only cold water in the shower in the room. Swimming pool never accessable, because every day there were wedding photographers or receptions. No breakfast and no restaurant available, even though they promoted it.

I have stayed at this hotel many times before. The Gorgeous wooden suite with poolside view was fabulous. Staff are friendly. An added cultural bonus is the activities of wedding photographers who use this attractive location for pre wedding shoots.

It was disappointing but understandable that the restaurent services were not available during my stay. I was told that the restaurant will be opening in January . I could get a Khmer Breakfast for $1 down the road and a nice coffee shop nearby. Some of the bathroom fittings were a bit wobbly.

nothing- we kept getting kicked off our balcony for the constant wedding photoshoots taking place ALL DAY, EVERY DAY!! it was really irritating to have a photographers yell at our children to hurry up and close the door or get off the balcony so they could take their photos. We felt like we couldn’t leave our room because of this.

The rooms were old and run down. The shower water run over the top of the toilet. So anyone wanting to go to the toilet after the shower was used was walking on wet floors and a wet toilet. Wedding photos taken constantly in front of our villa and we weren’t allowed to use our balcony. we felt like we couldn’t leave our room because we were constantly yelled at by photographers.

This place is a dump. The bathroom was unclean, mouldy and wet all the time equating to a very unpleasant experience. No hot water. At all. I ran the shower for a looooong time. No hot water.

Everything. Poor staff professionalism. At reception they just hung out and stuck their heads in their phones. The room, the bathroom and the kitchen were nothing like the photographs on your website. Go figure. Therefore I am applying for 100% refund. Now, I don't reckon I'm too fussy, I've stayed in some pretty crappy places but on a value for money rating this place scores around -1000. I have photographic evidence, however, your system would not upload them successfully. I am happy to supply them if you have an alternative.

had photographers constantly in the resort, on our balconies, taking wedding photos, leaving mess everywhere. It was not fair when we were the ones paying for the hotel, and they were in on our balconies. Told reception, they didn’t understand what we were saying or offer to tell them to move away from our rooms.

John! He was amazing. My husband got sick and he helped us call the hospital, and he and a colleague drove us there at no extra cost. My kids had to stay in the hotel room and John helped them order food. He was really caring🥰

We could not use the pool. Something in the filter system was broken, so it looked like a swamp. There were no food at the hotel.
