Muntri Maison

The location is excellent, less than 5 minutes’ walk to Chulia Street Hawker Food. Very convenient to explore Georgetown either on foot or by Grab. Despite being near the busy area, it’s quiet and peaceful, which I really liked. The room was clean and tidy, and overall good value for money. I especially enjoyed the bathtub with complimentary bath bombs and bath salts provided daily. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the management was very responsive via WhatsApp even before my stay.

Some minor points: there was slight dirt (gel-like substance) at the bathtub and shower tiles, and 1–2 vinyl flooring pieces were slightly popping up (families with kids may want to take note). The bathtub tap water was a little slow and not warm (more like room temperature), but still manageable. Other than that, everything was great!

The soundproof or door closing of room can be better designed. The banging of doors can be heard till late night.

It was in a good location and near good eateries.

I didn't get to refund the deposit, yes they not refund for me the rm50 deposit even after 2week and ignoring the complaints!! Beware

The staff were really nice and friendly. The room was always clean and in good condition. The AC, WiFi, and water pressure were strong. The location was close to many bars and restaurants, as well as museums and other attractions. It was always easy for Grab drivers to find and pick guests up at the hotel. I was really happy staying there seven nights.

Because the room I was staying in didn't have a window, it would have been nice if there was a desk lamp or a dimmer switch. It felt like my lighting options were pitch black or very bright! Not a big deal, though. Also, it would be good if the hotel had a few universal power adapters for travellers.
