Jawa Townstay

Everything was good but no pot to cook and no knife to cut things. The sound insulation is not good, and you can clearly hear the footsteps from upstairs. Very convenient location, near to jonker street, only need walk 5-7 mins. Owner is very friendly and nice, and reasonable accommodation prices. Large accommodation space, suitable for large families.

Rooms detail incorrect 2 nos of twin room stated but actually only 1 nos of twin room

Location is good. House is clean & friendly staff.

Car park is big but entrance is inconvenient.

Location is very near to old town but away from the noise. And also plenty of parking spaces. Clean and roomy as well.

Check in timing was very restrictive. And staff advised us to text the manager for wifi password, and we never gotten a reply. Lucky for a night stay we didn't need the wifi so much..

Location is walkable to Jonker but not too near the busy areas so it won't be noisy. The rooms and toilets are clean. Nothing too fancy but you get really good value for the location and parking facilities within the compound. We only got 1 key for our unit so we have to always go out together. Other than that, there isn't much to complain about.

The road leading to the property is narrow so if you are driving a bigger car, it might be a hard to navigate but it is a prime location in Melaka. It's a small trade-off.

The place was very clean and the rooms were comfortable. My family really enjoyed it. I would recommend big groups of people to stay here instead of a hotel.

Located about 100m from Melaka River and the Stadthuys is the closest attraction that's about 8min away by foot. You don't need to drive if you're staying here. The check in process was smooth and the property was spacious. The house had an old-school peranakan feel that harks back to the 1950s. I enjoyed the stay!

There were 2 toilets/bathrooms for 10 pax. An extra bathroom is welcome during "peak period".
