Unacceptable and unsafe experience – do not book this place! This was one of the worst travel experiences we’ve ever had. We had a confirmed check-in at 22:30, but due to unexpected delays (traffic and taxi issues), we arrived slightly later. I informed the host in advance through WhatsApp, explaining the situation clearly. Despite this, we were told that the door would not open after 22:30 because of some so-called “automatic system” — no exceptions, no help, no alternatives. We were four young women left outside late at night, in a completely unfamiliar place, with no way to enter the property and no support whatsoever from the host. It was not only disrespectful, but also dangerous and irresponsible on their part. Also he deleted the instructions on how to find the apartment after the conversation that I had with him. The host showed no understanding or support, and the situation caused a huge amount of stress and anxiety. The lack of flexibility, basic empathy, or any human decency from the host was shocking. A place that locks guests out at night and offers zero help does not deserve to be on Booking.com. And if it hadn’t been for a resident who lived in that building, we would have been stuck outside all night in a completely unfamiliar place.

-the building is near a construction site -missing amenities such as iron -thin walls ( could hear neighbors quite loud) -extra charges for city tax of 1.5 euros/person/night which was not specified in the booking price
