Great location to explore the Kolsay lakes. Beautiful view of the mountains. Comfy house with everything you need. Very hospitable hosts.

The WiFi is unreliable, though that is more to do with the remote area than the hotel itself

Very spacious & clean, the location is so beautiful we get up to view of hills & mountains. It was such a refreshing day in the village. There’s also water heater which is perfect for the cold weather there. Breakfast was delivered straight to our room which is amazing. The owner of the guesthouse also offered transport transfer service at a really affordable price compared to what was offered by other private driver. He picked us up from Kegen border, brought us to kolsai lake, charyn canyon & sent us back to Almaty. He doesn’t speak much english but he tries his best to communicate.

Nothing. Just a side note to the driver to drive carefully & not be on his phone so much while driving, we were lowkey scared for our lives haha
