The Residence - Fitzroy

Excellent modern accommodation. We had everything we needed including cooking amenities. Otherwise there are quite a few cafes, bakeries and restaurants within walking distance. Will stay there again.

Fabulous location for the beach and walkway, and to the fabulous Fitzroy kiosk. Lovely clean, modern and comfortable home. Can’t wait to come back

we loved the location, easy to acess and get in the residence. Easy parking, close by to the beach and main street. We could quickly jump in the car ride couple minutes down the main road to get something to eat. Or enjoy a walk by the beach for about an hour to the center. Clean, modern, had all the facilities. Perfect!

We enjoyed our stay in Apartment 8. It is upstairs which might not suit some, but it is beautifully furnished and super clean. We found the location exceplenty and we weren't bothered by noise. The bed was comfortable with lovely sheets and pillows. The iron and ironing board and the hair dryer were well used as we were going to a wedding! All in all a very enjoyable stay.

The location was excellent.

There was an apparent miscommunication between the owner and Bookings.com regarding the size of the room and I would not have booked it if I had known how small the room was.

Roomy ground floor apartment 1. Very comfy bed, all facilities needed for a good stay. The location is really good with cafes pizza and takeaways close by, plus some interesting decor shops and a great shoe shop! Not far away is the photogenic Te Rewarewa footbridge and walk around Lake Rotomanu connecting to the coastal walk.

It was a bit gloomy for easy reading. Maybe because some of the lightbulbs need replacing. An easy fix. No wash cloths provided , luckily we had our own. The towels were superb though. 👌
